Heavy Vehicle Licences
Light Rigid Licence (LR)
7 Hours
First step up from a car licence. Drive rigid vehicles up to 8 tonnes GVM — delivery trucks, minibuses, larger vans. One-on-one with your trainer, book a date that suits you.
Medium Rigid Licence (MR)
7 Hours
Two-axle rigid vehicles over 8 tonnes — tippers, service trucks, medium freight. Requires a current car licence.
Heavy Rigid Licence (HR)
7 Hours
Three or more axles over 8 tonnes — articulated buses, heavy freight, concrete agitators. One of the most in-demand truck licences in NSW.
Heavy Combination Licence (HC)

Prime movers and semi-trailers. The licence you need to haul serious freight on Australian roads.
